Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Motion Star ("we", "us"), a set of web tools for making images such as posed characters, inventory screens, items and tooltips. By creating an account or using the tools you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Motion Star.

Not affiliated with Minecraft

Motion Star is not an official Minecraft service. It is not approved by, or associated with, Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of its owners. We don't provide Minecraft's game files, textures or other assets. Where you want something to look like a particular game or resource pack, you bring your own.

Your account

• You must be at least [minimum age] years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission.
• Give us accurate details and keep your login safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account unless your plan says otherwise.

Plans and payment

• Motion Star is a paid subscription. Plans, prices and what each includes are shown on the subscribe page.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Billing in your account menu, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.

• We may change prices or plans. We'll give you notice before a change affects your next payment.

What you upload and what you make

• You keep ownership of the images you make and of the skins and resource packs you bring. You're responsible for having the right to use anything you upload, including skins and resource packs made by other people.
• Skins and resource packs you upload are used in your browser and aren't sent to our servers. See the Privacy policy for the details.
• You're responsible for how you use what you make, including following the rules of any site you publish it on and any licence that applies to the packs and skins you used.

Using Motion Star fairly

Please don't:

• use the tools to make content that is illegal, hateful, or that harasses or impersonates someone;
• try to break, overload or get around limits on the service, or use it to attack anything else;
• resell access to Motion Star or copy the service itself.

The username lookup in the Pose editor is for fetching public skins. Please don't use it for bulk collection.

The service itself

• We work to keep Motion Star running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
• Features, limits and plans may change as we build. Presets and other saved work are kept in your browser for now, so clearing your browser data can remove them. Export what matters.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Motion Star and delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Liability

Motion Star is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the [12] months before the problem. [Lawyer to review this section and local consumer law.]

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will say so on this page, and by email if the change matters. Continuing to use Motion Star after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].
